After that, you will be isolated and helpless when going to Milk Sea and Five-Colored Sea. The altitude here is more than 4,000 meters. Tourists who are uncomfortable with altitude sickness can rest and breathe oxygen here. We didn’t have time to rest here. After getting off the car, we marched quickly towards Yangmaiyong 🚶‍♂️.

There are not many yaks in the cattle farm in winter. You can only see them gathering in groups of three or four to graze. The yaks seem to be grouped into units of three or five.

The row of stables in the distance is the camp of the special horse gang, where you can ride horses up the mountain. The fare is 500 in the peak season and 300 in the off-season. It snowed heavily before we came, causing the roads to be icy, so we didn't ride horses today.

The stream near the wooden plank road has thawed, and there is plenty of sunshine here, and the grass is reflected in golden color.

The green stream, the golden grassland and the white snow-capped mountains in the distance are such beautiful sights even in the desolate winter. Thank God the sun is shining today.

If you don't go to the Milk Sea, the scenery of Luolong Cow Farm is enough to make you stop and linger for a long time. Many tourists who have already developed altitude sickness turned back here.

The pedestrian path at Luolong Ranch is the only way to the Milk Sea and the Five-Colored Sea. During the day, the horses are busy carrying tourists up the mountain, so the meadow is empty.

The plank road crosses the meadow diagonally, and the team of tourists looks like a giant greedy snake from a distance, slowly crawling forward.

Although the scenery is beautiful, everyone cannot stay here for too long, because the "long-distance" journey basically takes at least five hours to complete on foot, so you must control your precious time and physical strength and try to go higher 🚶‍♂️.

From the gate of Yading Scenic Area to Luorong Cattle Farm, you must first take the scenic area bus to the end point, then walk 300 meters to Chonggu Temple and take the battery car to arrive. The scenic area gate to the bus terminal is 45 kilometers, and the ticket is 120 yuan per person. The next day, the ticket to enter the scenic area is 50% off and 60 yuan; the battery car from Chonggu Temple to Luorong Cattle Farm is 9 kilometers, and the ticket is 80 yuan per person. Isn't it almost like robbery?

Luorong Ranch is 4,150 meters above sea level, and you can see the three sacred mountains of Risong Gongbu. Both here and Zhongdian in Yunnan have a transliteration of Luorong (there is a Luorong Village in Pudacuo Park in Zhongdian County, Yunnan Province), and it is also the place where the most fierce competition for the real location of Locke's Shangri-La is. Now Zhongdian County has been renamed Shangri-La City, and Riwa Township where Aden is located has also been renamed Shangri-La Town.

Take the electric car from the lower station of the electric car management station to the upper station of the electric car management station at Luolong Cattle Farm. This section is a bit long, so walking is not recommended.

Standing on the central viewing platform of Luolong Ranch and looking around, one, two, three, three snow-capped mountains were presented in front of us without any cover, so much so that at the first moment we all doubted whether we had seen the wrong mountain, because countless predecessors taught us that: In Luolong Ranch, you can usually only see one snow-capped mountain, and it is very good to see two. The last one usually requires climbing further up the mountain to the location of the Five-Colored Sea and the Milk Sea to see, how lucky you are 😁.

Luorong Ranch is the last stop of the battery car. From here you can choose to hike up the mountain or ride a horse. It is beautiful here, like a painting. Cows and sheep are chewing leisurely, bringing vitality to this land. In the distance is Yangmaiyong Mountain, the embodiment of the wisdom of Manjusri Bodhisattva. Although there is no green grass and fragrance of flowers, and no gorgeous colors of autumn, Luorong Ranch in April is still beautiful enough to make people linger. Pay attention to the departure time of the last battery car, don't miss it. Also pay attention to the direction when you change buses at Zhaguanbeng. One is to Yading Village, and the other is to Shangri-La Town (ticket office parking lot). Don't line up in the wrong line.

Luorong Ranch, 4,180 meters above sea level, is surrounded by three sacred mountains: Xiannairi in the north, Yangmaiyong in the south, and Xianuoduoji in the east. Luorong Ranch has a horse caravan, and you can choose to ride horses up the mountain, but you can't go directly to the Milk Sea, you can only walk the first 2/3 of the way. And the "happy news" is that the price has now risen to 500 yuan/person.

Starting from Luolong Ranch, the first one or two kilometers of the road are very flat. The grassland is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and is very beautiful.

However, these flat roads were soon cut off in seconds, and the rest of the climbing and climbing was something I don’t want to recall anymore.

After walking for two and a half hours, we finally arrived at Luolong Ranch. The slope along the way was not steep, so it was relatively easy. Climbing up further was not so easy, and it was not an exaggeration to say that it was difficult. There was a caravan nearby that could ride horses up, but they could only ride one-third of the way, and the rest had to be climbed by themselves, which was really hard work. Plateau hiking consumes a lot of physical energy, and you need to replenish it frequently. I brought several Snickers bars and almost ate them all.

The stream below is the best place to photograph the reflection of Yangmai Yong, but you need to take the earliest electric car to get here before sunrise.

The pasture in the evening is shrouded in the glow of the setting sun. The pasture surrounded by the sacred mountain has been dyed with the colors of autumn. Streams weave through the grass. Most of the tourists have just returned from the foot of the mountain, with tired but satisfied expressions on their faces.

A complete wooden plank road was built on the Luorong cattle farm, and it takes quite a while to walk around it. Except that I was tired because I trusted the distance on the road sign that day, it was a relatively relaxing day. I slowly adapted to the altitude of the plateau, and at the same time, I visited almost all places except the mountain route. It made up for the regret of the quick tour when I first came to Aden.

Here, snow-capped mountains, peaks, meadows, rivers, woods, plank roads, blue sky and sunlight are all presented before you, just like in the picture. You have finally arrived at the charming distance you saw in the photos.

I was so attracted by the beautiful scenery at Luolong Cattle Farm that I couldn’t move. I spent quite a lot of time there. At that time, I really didn’t worry about the trip to the Milk Sea later!

Tips: Don't go down to the grass to take pictures at Luorong Cattle Farm, leaving a beautiful scenery for those who come after you. There is also a loudspeaker next to the grass that keeps broadcasting "Please visit along the plank road, don't go down to the grass to take pictures", but some people still ignore the warning and go down to the grass to take pictures. Their behavior is disgusting.

Luorong Ranch is definitely worth a visit. Snow-capped mountains, meadows, cattle and horses, and all the scenery you can think of in Aden can be seen here. It is also a transit point for the long-distance Milk Lake. You need to take a battery car from the Chonggu Temple Transportation Center to here, or you can walk. If you don't go to the Milk Lake, you can walk there slowly. There are also many people gathered here. The area is relatively large. It is also a super enjoyable thing to bring a blanket or something to sit here to rest and take pictures. But be careful not to litter.

Although I brought sunglasses, I forgot to apply sunscreen and wear a hat, so my face and hands were all sunburned after I came back. Please pay attention. Luorong Ranch is 4,150 meters above sea level. Luorong Ranch is backed by three sacred mountains, Xiannairi, Yangmaiyong, and Xianuoduoji. It is the best place to view the three snow-capped mountains. The sacred mountain Yangmaiyong is directly opposite. According to field surveys, the one-way distance from Luorong Ranch at an altitude of 4,150 meters to the Five-Colored Sea at an altitude of 4,700 meters is more than 6 kilometers, and the round trip is about 13 kilometers. It takes 4 hours to go up the mountain and 3 hours less to go down the mountain. Start hiking at 9 am and return to the starting point at 4 pm. Finally, it is 5:30 to reach Shangri-La Town after passing the Aden Hotel, and arrive in Daocheng before 7 o'clock for dinner. The time is just right!

However, the transportation capacity of the caravan is relatively limited. People who are not the first to arrive can hardly grab a horse. I just want to spend 500 yuan but it's not possible.

There is a small shop here that sells fast food and water, but you have to climb the slope from the get-off point to buy them, so it is recommended that you bring your own.

When I went down to the cattle farm in the evening, I finally saw a few cows eating grass leisurely, and a horse walking alone on the road.

This is a place where it is easy to produce blockbusters.

Note: You can’t go on the grass here now, but you can find a calmer pond and take beautiful reflection photos of Yangmaiyong.

In order to save energy, I bought a battery car ticket and went straight to Luorong Ranch. When I arrived at Luorong Ranch, I also arrived at the filming location of "Passing by Your World". The scenery is super great! I must admit that autumn in western Sichuan is the most colorful season.

Getting here is equivalent to reaching the foot of the three sacred mountains (Xiannairi, Yangmaiyong, and Xianuoduoji). There is a relatively open grassland here. If the weather is particularly good when you go there, you can see the true face of the snow-capped mountains. It was cloudy and rainy when we went there, and the true face of the snow-capped mountains was revealed halfway through the climb.

It takes about 10 minutes to reach Luorong Cattle Farm from Chonggu Temple by scenic battery car. Under the shade of snow-capped mountains, the streams passing through the forest, and the cattle and sheep leisurely, Luorong Cattle Farm in the golden autumn is like a colorful pastoral poem.

Luorong Ranch is even more beautiful under the sunset. The meadow in late autumn is just the right yellow. Snow-capped mountains, meadows, sunset, yellow, red, foraging, horses, flowing snow water, everything is a painting that cannot be taken away but is engraved in my heart.

After taking the bus to Zhaguanbeng, you can walk or take an electric car to Luolong Ranch.

At Luorong Ranch, you can get a close look at the two sacred mountains, Yangmaiyong and Xialuoduoji.

Next to a strangely shaped tree trunk, there is a skeleton that I don’t know if it is a yak.

There are actually Tibetans here living in low houses built entirely of stone and without windows.

Many small yellow flowers will bloom on the moss on the stones.

After going down the mountain, we saw the Luolong Cattle Farm. There were a few horses, but no herds of cattle or sheep.

It was snowing heavily when I went there, and everything was white. Maybe it would be better to go there in summer, when everything would be green.

When we climbed up to Luorong Ranch, the handrails of the trail were covered with a layer of ice flowers, and the wild flowers on the grassland also looked like ice flowers. In an instant, the sun shone on the earth and the temperature gradually rose. How insignificant people are in the mountains, and how awed they are by the tall snow-capped mountains.

Luorong Cow Farm is the ideal place to view the three sacred mountains. It is also the terminal of the scenic area's battery car.

It is similar to Chonggu Meadow and is worth a slow walk.

From Luorong Ranch to Sheshen Cliff, you can choose to ride a horse or walk, taking photos and stopping along the way, which is a great pleasure. During the National Day holiday, Luorong Ranch had very few people.

The road to Luolong Cattle Farm is all flat. When we arrived at Luolong Cattle Farm, the sunset was setting and the scenery was different. We had plenty of time, so we stayed here for a long time.

If you have the time and energy, you can walk there, because the scenery along the way is stunning. The part where you pass by your world and propose is in the area where you walk to the cattle farm.

I thought I was here to see the beautiful scenery but what I saw was a sea of ​​people. There are many such scenery on the Sichuan-Tibet line. A cup of water costs 5 yuan, so why not go grab it! The locals charge 20 yuan for a hot spring bath. I saw that the number of tourists doubled. The room rate tripled in two days.
