There are also many small cruise ships in Luchong Scenic Area for tourists to take a boat tour, and there are many places suitable for taking photos on the shore. Luchong at night is more like a night market, with food stalls and open-air KTVs, which are very lively. It is suitable for leisure vacations and taking photos. The ticket is 15 yuan, and you can enter and exit freely within a month. If you just want to watch the sunrise early in the morning, you don’t need to buy a ticket, because the gatekeepers are not at work that early.

If you feel it up close here, the water quality of Fuxian Lake is really good, much better than Erhai Lake and Dianchi Lake.

What impressed me most about Luchong were the fish holes. They didn't look very pretty, but they were quite interesting. The fish holes were left behind by the local fishing method, which is called "fishing with water wheels". First, a big hole is dug, and then a water wheel is put on and pumped hard. The unique "anti-wave fish" in the lake like to swim upstream, and are eventually half-driven and half-lured into the fish hole. The fish holes left here all had owners in the past, and there are inscriptions such as Zeng's Fish Hole and Li's Fish Hole at the entrance of the hole. There are also some fish holes that are suspended there because the lake level has dropped. Those long and protruding large stones are called "stems".

From south to north, Luchong Scenic Area consists of Rongshu Bay, Observation Deck, Golden Beach, Luchong Fish Cave around Cheshui Fishing, Boxi Bay on the northernmost side, and Bijia Ridge Trail. The Cheshui Fishing Scenic Spot is mainly composed of many fishing holes for villagers in the past. The ticket is 15 yuan/person and takes 2-3 hours. If you only visit the Luchong Scenic Area in Chengjiang, you don't need to stay in Chengjiang. You can take a bus from Kunming South Bus Station (20 yuan/person, 1 hour drive) to Chengjiang Bus Station and then transfer to Chengjiang to Luchong Bus (4 yuan/person, 40 minutes drive) to achieve a round trip on the same day from Kunming City.

When I went there, it happened to be a cold wave with strong winds, so there were not many people. Normally, there should be a lot of people here. There are a lot of seagulls by the lake in winter and spring, and you can also climb a hill to overlook the beautiful scenery of Fuxian Lake. There is a No. 8 bus from Chengjiang County to Luchong Scenic Area, and the No. 8 bus stops at the Chengjiang County Bus Station.

Fuxian Lake Luchong Scenic Area represents the tourism center of Fuxian Lake. It is also the most beautiful scenic spot of Fuxian Lake. The tourism industry has also developed slowly from Luchong. There are many farmhouses here, but not all of them are good. It is recommended to go to Manjinglou Hotel, which provides food and accommodation. Your choice will not disappoint you.

Because of the sand, the water on the shore is turbid. I personally think that the Fish Cave is a good spot for viewing Fuxian Lake. There is a small hill in the scenic area, but I personally think it's okay not to climb it, hahaha

The top of the mountain is also an ideal place to watch the sunrise. There are many banyan trees planted on the beach by the lake, so this area of ​​the lake is also called Rongshu Bay. The elderly and children are having fun and having fun. Maybe because of the economic benefits, the consequence is overcrowding. Every family in the small village has a hotel and restaurant, and the streets seem very crowded. There is no time when you go out without running into acquaintances. Luchong feels a bit dirty and messy. Non-residents need to buy a 30-yuan ticket to visit here. If you don't climb Bijia Mountain, I personally think it is not worth buying a ticket to visit.

It is recommended to live a little further from the lake, because the lakeside of the scenic area is more lively than you can imagine at night, and the entire scenic area is not large, so it won't take too much time to walk to the lake. At night, the Fuxian Lake Chonglu Scenic Area is full of singing and dancing, and there is an open-air KTV every few steps.

I went there last year. I took a train from Chongqing and arrived at Kunming Railway Station the next morning. I turned right and took a bus to South Station (Luoshibuwan Station), then turned left and took a bus to Yuxi, and then took a bus to Luchong. It was very convenient. Tips: The road leading to Lingyun Pavilion is difficult to find. Many tourists stop at Guanyin Temple (the temple on the top of the mountain) because they feel there is no way. In fact, you don’t need to enter Guanyin Temple to get to Lingyun Pavilion. In a rather hidden corner outside the gate of the temple, there are stone tables, stone chairs and trees to block the view. Go behind the trees and turn a small corner to see a steep path. This is the road leading to Lingyun Pavilion.

I later found out that the ticket office I walked down the highway to was not the main entrance to the Luchong Scenic Area. But since there was someone on duty, it must be a legitimate place.

Some will also cheat you. It is better to go in and find it by yourself. You can stay in whichever one you like. Most of them are hostels and hotels opened by local residents (renovated from their own houses, and downstairs is a place to eat). There are no chain hotels. The food is very local, with potato rice, various styles of fish (steamed, boiled, steamed, braised, and many styles), all kinds of fresh vegetables, chicken, duck, fish and meat. The scenery here is good and the weather is good. Even if it rains in the morning, it will be sunny in the afternoon. Last time we went there, it was sunny in the morning, but it started to rain in the evening. It rained all night, sometimes sunny and sometimes rainy. It was still raining early the next morning, but it was sunny when we had breakfast and came back.

Luchong Scenic Area is located on the edge of Fuxian Lake. You need to buy a ticket to enter. In fact, the scenery of other lakesides of Fuxian Lake is similar to this place. The only thing worth seeing here is a large beach with very fine sand. If it is summer, tourists can play with sand on the beach and play in the water.

The Luchong scenic area is the best developed and is also the place to go to play in the water in Fuxian Lake. However, because I circled the lake, I still think this is not the best spot for scenery.

In order to find a place to stay, we came to Luchong Village. Before entering the village, we were taken to a farm stay by local villagers. The price was reasonable. The four of us chose a room with three beds for 150 yuan.

After settling in, we walked towards the lake. The scenery was still beautiful, although not as good as Erhai Lake. It was already evening when we arrived. After walking around the lake, we went to climb Bijia Mountain and climbed to the pavilion on the top of the mountain. The mountain is not very high and it is easy to climb to the top. From another road on Bijia Mountain, you can also go to Boxi Bay. When we went down the mountain, it was dark and we saw a firefly.

For dinner, I had copper pot fish and copper pot potato rice. I ordered sweet osmanthus fish, and the soup was very fresh. The potato rice was especially delicious and highly recommended.

At night, the area around the lake is full of KTVs, and you can hear them while eating.

The farmhouse rooms are cleaner.

There are many amusement facilities by the lake, which are the same ones I played in the children's park when I was a child. They are not very interesting.

As for taking the boat, it was quite expensive at 120 for four people and I don’t remember whether it took an hour and a half or half an hour, so we didn’t take it.

The Luchong Scenic Area has good scenery but there is nothing to do. Those who like scenery can come.

Fuxian Lake is located between Chengjiang, Jiangchuan and Huaning counties, 5 kilometers south of Chengjiang County and more than 70 kilometers from Kunming. It is a famous freshwater lake in my country. The water quality here is excellent and the lake water is clear. The lake area is 212 square kilometers, second only to Dianchi Lake and Erhai Lake, and it is the third largest lake in Yunnan Province. The deepest point of Fuxian Lake is 155 meters, which is the first deep-water lake in Yunnan Province and the second deepest lake in my country. The water storage capacity is 18.5 billion cubic meters, which is equivalent to 4 times the total water storage capacity of Dianchi Lake and Erhai Lake. The lake is a specialty of bighead carp. There were originally two small islands in the southwest of Fuxian Lake, named Da Gudao and Xiao Gudao. In the Ming Dynasty, a Yinhong Bridge was built to connect the two small islands. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, the bridge and the small island were swept away by wind and rain overnight. Now only Da Gudao remains, which is more than 40 meters higher than the lake surface and is oval-shaped, like an egg. The area is half a square kilometer, with caves and peaks on it, and many broken rocks on the side facing the water. In the Ming Dynasty, many celebrities and scholars used this island as a paradise and built palaces such as the Summer Resort and Yinghai Tower. In 1988, Gushan Scenic Area was listed as a provincial scenic spot by Yunnan Province. The main tourist attractions in Fuxian Lake Scenic Area include Luchong Village, Jieyu Stone, Star Scenic Area, Gushan Island, etc. Tourists can camp by the lake, go boating and swimming in the lake. Of course, there are also many resorts and hotels by the lake. Every summer, more and more tourists come here to escape the summer heat.

I went there in the rainy season and couldn't go in the water because it was cold. The white sand in front of the beach is artificial, and the rest is a small rocky beach. The water is still clear. It's nice to climb the mountain to see the panoramic view. It would be perfect if it was accompanied by blue sky and white clouds.

It is mainly composed of Bijia Mountain and a relatively rich variety of farmhouses and waterside entertainment projects. Here you can choose to get up early and climb Bijia Mountain to see the whole view of Luchong. After going down the mountain, go to the lakeside to rent a pedal boat to go to the lake, find an open space, swim and rest. The sky is high and the sea is vast, the water is clear and the wind is high, and the elderly and children are happy. Not far from the shore is a row of large banyan trees, and under the banyan trees is a circle of artificial sand for children to play with sand and have fun.

However, the disadvantage of the Luchong Scenic Area is that it has become heavily commercialized. There are many farmhouses by the lake, but the charges are very chaotic.

Fuxian Lake has mountains, water and clouds. The water is particularly clear and it feels great to walk barefoot by the lake.

This is a scenic spot of Fuxian Lake that was developed relatively early. I heard from others that it is too commercialized here, but the facilities and services here are relatively complete. It was developed early and the overall situation is very good. If you want to come to Luchong, just take the rural bus directly to Luchong Scenic Area at Chengjiang County Bus Station. It costs 4 yuan and takes about half an hour. It feels very fresh to come to Luchong Scenic Area for the first time. After all, this is one of the best viewing spots of Fuxian Lake. The most important thing is that there are mountains that other scenic spots do not have. Other scenic spots cannot climb mountains, but here you can. The small mountain is shaded by green trees. Standing on the mountain overlooking Fuxian Lake, there is a feeling of looking at the sea from Jieshi in the east. There is also the most important artificial beach in the scenic area. If you come in the off-season, it is still very comfortable. You can bask in the sun leisurely and look at the sea of ​​Fuxian Lake. The surrounding farmhouses have been open for many years, and there are many delicacies. Copper pot fish is a must. When eating, you can ask the enthusiastic boss if there are any discounts for accommodation, and where else is fun in Fuxian Lake. The enthusiastic local boss will definitely tell you one by one. If you are visiting Fuxian Lake for the first time, it is better to come to Luchong to experience it first, and then explore other scenic spots. From developed to undeveloped, Fuxian Lake is waiting for you to visit.

The lake beach below is the most fun place in Luchong. Although the beach above is artificially transported, it does not affect the children's mood for playing. There are also many cruise ships for you to go on the lake. The lakeside is full of snacks and food stores, and a little further in are various hotels.

After agreeing on the price, drive into the scenic area. The scenic area will write down your license plate number. If you are like us and want to go to other attractions temporarily, when you leave the door, you must tell the security guard that you will come back to stay at night and ask them to write down your license plate number. This way, you don’t have to pay for the ticket when you come in again.

It is the first building at the entrance of the scenic area. It is easy to find. We are on the second floor and can barely see the lake view. There is a large parking lot in the scenic area, and the parking fee is 10 yuan per night. After putting down the luggage and washing the face, I took some photos in Luchong first, and then drove to the wetland park on the east side of the lake to take pictures of the sunset. Because Luchong is on the west bank of the lake, you can only take pictures of the sunrise here, but not the sunset.

At the lakeside, you can easily take photos of such scenery. Isn't it beautiful? Blue sky, white clouds, blue lake water, China's largest freshwater lake, doesn't it have the flavor of China's Lake Baikal? After leaving the scenic area, drive along the ring road around the lake towards the Sakura Valley. It is said to be a new scenic spot. Be careful along the way, there are many speed detection points. When I first read the information, it said that the water quality of Fuxian Lake is the best in the country, much better than Baihai Lake and Lugu Lake. I was a little bit unbelievable. When I really went to the lakeside to see, it was true! Look how clear the water is, completely transparent.

Of course, good water also needs to be protected. Fuxian Lake is also a first-class protected scenic spot in China. You cannot litter here. Only by protecting it well can this fairyland remain beautiful!

 

On the third day in Fuxian Lake, we came to the Fuxian Lake Luchong Scenic Area, which is currently the most famous scenic area around Fuxian Lake. There are not as many tourists here as we imagined, but later there are more and more. You need a ticket to enter the Luchong Scenic Area, which costs 15 yuan per person. If you drive by yourself, the parking fee is 20 per person, and you can park as long as you want. After entering, we quickly started to play.

We decided to go swimming in the lake, so we changed into swimsuits. However, the coast of Luchong Scenic Area is not suitable for swimming. The coastline here is not like other natural villages and Sakura Valley. There are sand under the water. There are small stones under the coastline here, which are very painful to step on. And the most dangerous thing is that the water is very deep near the shore. If you look at it, it can submerge my chin less than ten meters from the shore. I am used to swimming in natural swimming baths in Sakura Valley and Xinhekou Village. I almost didn't come back here. I was scared to death. The host is 1.8 meters tall. In summary, Luchong is not suitable for swimming. It is very uncomfortable and dangerous. I still feel scared when I think about it now. It's very uncomfortable. After all this tossing, we stayed under the water for a while and came up, found a place to change our clothes, changed a good mood, and continued to explore Luchong Scenic Area!

Luchong Scenic Area is not far from Chengjiang County. You can take a bus directly to Chengjiang County Bus Station. Fuxian Lake is very beautiful and has many water entertainment projects.

We arrived at the lakeside of Luchong Scenic Area at 4pm. The sun was still strong and the water was blue. We were on the west bank and the light was against us. It was not as beautiful as we had imagined and it was not convenient to take pictures, but it was very similar to the feeling at the seaside. There were waves and wind, and there were many people rowing on the lake. We walked along the beach until 5:30. We got up at 6:50am and went to the mountain in Luchong Scenic Area to watch the sunrise. The sun emerged from the horizon at around 7:40am. Watching the sunrise on the lake was completely different from watching it on the mountain. The water was calm and the waves were shining. The sun was reflected on the vast lake, brilliant and splendid.

We visited the Luchong Scenic Area, ate copper pot fish, climbed to the top of the mountain to see the lake view, picked up various small snails by the lake, and returned to the hotel before sunset to enjoy the sunset in the wetland park. The Luchong Scenic Area has been overdeveloped, and there are too many businesses on the shore.

There are several open-air karaoke bars in the scenic area at night. The speakers are turned up very loud and they sing until about twelve o'clock. It is recommended that you do not go out in the hot afternoon and stay in the inn to sleep for a while. That way, you can go to bed late at night without affecting your sleep, otherwise it will be very painful.

Entering the scenic area is like entering a residential compound.

Luchong Scenic Area is indeed worthy of its reputation. The lake water is very clear. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the sun.

We were really unlucky this time, it was cloudy all day with thick clouds. Because of the bad weather, there were few tourists and it was very cold by the lake.

Luchong Scenic Area was rated as a national AAAA-level scenic area in 2010. Luchong Village is located on the west bank of Fuxian Lake, 20 kilometers away from Chengjiang County.

The ticket price is 15 yuan, and the discount price is 12 yuan during holidays. All guests who eat and stay in Luchong Village have the opportunity to enter the scenic area for free. The gate of Luchong Scenic Area is unattended before 8 am and after 6 pm, so you can enter the scenic area to watch the sunrise or sunset.

The scenic area is composed of the beautiful Fuxian Lake, the Bijia Mountain shaped like a pen holder, the Yusun Mountain shaped like a golden bell, the ancient banyan trees with thick shade, and the ancient and unique fishing by water. Luchong Scenic Area is the earliest developed area of ​​Fuxian Lake. It has long been famous and there are many people on holidays. It is for this reason that we chose Gushan Island Scenic Area for this trip.

The cost is very low, and each two-day visit costs about 200 to 300 yuan. It is very suitable for a leisure vacation on weekends.

There are many entertainment activities in Luchong at night, including barbecue and open-air KTV. I suggest you go there if you have time.

Luchong Scenic Area is a national 4A-level scenic area. You can also go boating. The price is 100 yuan per hour for one boat and 200 yuan for unlimited time.

Luchong was developed later, so the tickets are cheaper. In my opinion, one of its advantages is that it is closest to Kunming. The lunch we had in the scenic area was a bit expensive. We didn't eat much and spent 100 yuan.

The Luchong Scenic Area is a famous tourist attraction along the shore of Fuxian Lake, with the beautiful Fuxian Lake, the Bijia Mountain shaped like a pen holder, the Yusun Mountain shaped like a golden bell, the calm Boxi Bay, the shady ancient banyan trees, and the ancient and unique waterwheel for catching anti-wave fish, forming a beautiful picture.

The ticket price for visiting Luchong Scenic Area is 15 yuan per person, with no time limit and no student ticket. At the seaside, most people rent boats to play, and they must wear life jackets and are not allowed to jump into the lake. The water here is very deep and dangerous.

The ticket to Luchong is 15 yuan per person. Maybe it was the peak time for the return trip when we entered, so no one charged us. It was a great bargain. The lakeside is very beautiful, and there are tourists rowing boats on the lake (in order to protect the water quality, there are no motor boats in Fuxian Lake).

Most people who visit Fuxian Lake come to the Luchong Scenic Area. There are not many tourists in the scenic area, perhaps it is not the peak season yet.

There are not many tourists in the natural villages within the scenic area. There are many small-scale hotels, which are suitable for self-guided tours.

Clear lake water, emerald green mountains, white sandy beaches, and colorful cruise ships, this is the Luchong Scenic Area of ​​Fuxian Lake. Climbing up the distant mountain and looking into the distance, you will feel relaxed and happy. . .

I like this place very much. I have been there twice and I will go there again. It is suitable for weekend vacation and leisure. It is also good to go to the barbecue buffet with friends.
