A group of us squeezed onto a small platform that had not yet collapsed, and we waited for the flight opportunity from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Even if you go to pee, there will be no more flight opportunities. It's terrifying when you think about it.

The viewing platform is also quite large, about 100 meters long. The tour is one-way, with separate exits and entrances, but you can go back and forth in the viewing platform. Since we arrived too early, there were not many people on the viewing platform. If it was the peak tourist season, it might be difficult to go back and forth.

If you have a single-day ticket, you can only enter here once, so you have to play enough before going to the plank road down the mountain. There is still a distance between the plank road down the mountain and the viewing platform. You have to leave the viewing platform and go forward about 20 meters to reach the entrance of the plank road down the mountain. The plank road down the mountain is not very long. There are many small viewing platforms and viewing pavilions in the middle where you can rest. It takes about 15 minutes to go down the mountain to the bottom, but going up the mountain is another matter.

We walked and took photos, and soon we reached the viewing platform on the bottom level. Since we were not in a hurry, we decided to rest here. During this time, we were still struggling whether to wait for the sunset here, because photographers had already started to take positions along the way, or started playing cards nearby, waiting for the sunset. After struggling for a while, we still lost to the 5-hour waiting time. The sunset of Tiger Mouth will be left to the future.

We arrived at Laohuzui at about 5:30 pm. As soon as we drove to the top of the mountain from the winding mountain road, we saw a hole in the clouds above the terraces. Light slanted out from the hole, forming what we call the "Jesus light". At that moment, I knew that we were lucky this time and would definitely be able to produce a blockbuster. A beam of light happened to hit the village in the distance. When I blinked, I thought it was a god descending to earth to bring some good wishes to the village!

The viewing platform was already crowded. Not to mention the best position, the slightly better angles were already occupied by cameras. However, due to the geographical location (Yunnan is located in the west, with a time difference of nearly two hours compared to Beijing time), it was still a long time before the real sunset.

The scenic area is very large. The Duoyishu Terraces are suitable for watching the sunrise, and the Laohuzui Terraces are suitable for watching the sunset.

It was a pity that I didn't see the sunset because it was cloudy. The viewing platform was far from the ticket gate. It took a long time to walk up the stairs to get there. It was really tiring. The local villagers asked for 30 yuan for roadside parking. It wasn't like they were parking in their fields. But I didn't want to cause trouble when I was out. Hey, what's the difference between them and bandits?

In the afternoon, I came to Laohuzui Terraces to wait for the sunset. Suddenly, a violent storm came. I thought there was no hope. But God opened his eyes and the clouds and fog dissipated at sunset. The terraces under the sunset seemed like a song [naughty]

After getting off the bus at Tiger Mouth, you need to walk for about 10 minutes to get down to the viewing platform. It's not bad to go down the mountain here, but it's late when you return, so be careful. In addition, there are local ethnic sisters on the viewing platform who will enthusiastically help you carry your luggage up the mountain. If necessary, bargain. There are multiple viewing platforms, each with its own advantages. You can walk around more when taking pictures to change the scenery.
