The food is a little limited and a little expensive. There are one or two small shops, a few small stir-fry stalls, and a few big food stalls (barbecue). We don't like seafood very much, and the owner of the accommodation was out and couldn't cook, so we felt that there was nothing to eat after staying for two days and one night. It takes about 4 hours to go around the island. If you walk clockwise, it's roughly up the stairs and down the road. I like hiking, so walking around the island is a very exciting thing for me. The scenery is pretty good, of course there are some average places, but I like this kind of open field of vision, it's very relaxing, and I also like to discover new scenery along the way (good or bad). Everyone and I wore slippers (I was trying to keep cool 😒, I still recommend wearing sneakers), we walked and took some photos, it was a bit hot and thirsty (there were people selling water after walking for a long time, and they had to carry it up with great effort so it's natural that it's a bit more expensive). It was a bit tiring, but I felt pretty refreshed after the walk, hahaha. The next day we got up early and went to a platform (I forgot what it was called) to wait for the sunrise. There were a lot of people and a few people had tripods, but it was a pity that we didn't see the sunrise because it was cloudy. Later it drizzled and everyone left unwillingly. I want to go there again in the future to see the sunrise that I haven't seen yet. This is the only place I especially want to bring my brother with me, maybe because it feels very purified? 😂

Dongfushan Island is the first island of my trip, so I went around the island with my friends after dinner. It took about 5 hours and basically no rest. So friends who are going to go around the island should plan their time well. There are many vegetation on the mountain, and the road is not easy to walk. It is very unsafe to walk at night. If you go around the island, you can see almost all the attractions, such as the First Post Lighthouse of the East China Sea, Furudonghai Stone, Xiangbi Peak (I personally think it is hard to see the pit, and the road is too far), Baiyun Palace, Dashuwan Stone House Group, Guanri Terrace (the first ray of dawn), etc. Friends who want to see the sunrise must pay attention to the weather and time. The sunrise time is around 5 o'clock. Generally, people go to the Sun Observation Deck at 4 o'clock to grab the best shooting position. However, the weather at sea is changeable and foggy, so it is easy to miss the sunrise. For example, I didn't see it. But I was relieved that I saw the sunset. When I came back from the island and just went to the room to rest, I accidentally saw the sunset from the window (it was cloudy when I was around the island, so I didn't expect to see the sunset). It happened that the room I lived in was by the sea. The afterglow of the sunset shone on the sea, against the lighthouse, which was very beautiful and spectacular. Most of the accommodation on the island is mainly farmers. There are seven or eighty-one nights. Because of the lack of fresh water resources on the island, most of them are public bathrooms (for men and women). For meals, you basically eat at the accommodation. Each of them has seasonal seafood, shellfish, etc., which is not more expensive than outside. The taste and method are very homely. Maybe the seasoning is limited. I personally think it's average, but it's acceptable. If you are more concerned about eating, it is recommended to go out to the stalls to eat. The prices are similar and the taste will be relatively better. After all, they specialize in this business. If you want to eat, you can also have barbecue. Barbecue is more expensive than inland. We had a little bit of it for two people, and it cost more than 200 yuan. It might be around 130 yuan here (I am in the suburbs of Shanghai). If you want to play, there are two bars on the island. I went to a bar. Maybe I went there before the Dragon Boat Festival. There were not many people. The dim lights, ordering a glass of wine, listening to folk songs, and the sound of the waves, it was a great feeling. I stayed at Dongji Happy Home, which is close to the pier. It is convenient to get in and out without climbing too many stairs. Next to it is the bar I mentioned, and there are also barbecue stalls next door. The location is very good.

Dongfushan Island is the most pristine island in the Dongji Islands, and also the most beautiful island on the sea. It is the island illuminated by the first ray of dawn in China. Our Lao Ren Yu Hai Qing Hostel is only 5 minutes away from the Sun Viewing Platform. Due to its high geographical location, it has a wide field of vision and faces the lighthouse to the west. It is a great location for watching the sunset! You can watch the sunrise from the yard on the side of the house, without having to go down to the Sun Viewing Platform. Since the young lady is lazy, most of the photos are taken in the yard. She sits in the yard and stares blankly every day, and is too lazy to go out.

Dragging a suitcase and carrying a big bag on the rugged and bumpy stone road is really tiring to doubt life. Dongfushan Island is the island with the best sea view in Dongji, and it is true. Under the changes of the sunshine magician, the blue sky and sea at all times of the day present different colors. In the morning and evening, the sun stands firmly above the horizon, transforming into wonderful pink, red, orange... The light passes through the water vapor and refracts various bright colors, which suddenly makes people feel more open-minded. From the rising sun to the bright sun, and then to the setting sun, during this period of time, Dongfushan Island presents tourists with blue sky and white clouds, azure blue water, and a lighthouse standing proudly on the sea... Just a picture of the magnificent seascape in front of you will make people daydream: facing the sea, the mind unconsciously becomes more open, and all the complicated worldly troubles are gone, leaving only the beautiful picture of Dongji in the mind, only the sigh of truth, goodness and beauty in the world, and only the question of why there is such a fairyland in the world! ! On Dongfushan Island, you can see more traces of development and commercialization, speedboats sailing around the island on the sea, seafood stalls with tents set up on the road, and seafood barbecue stalls are also opened in the gaps between seafood stalls. There is nothing beautiful about Dongfushan Island at night, the sea breeze is strong, and the mountain road is dark.

When you go to Dongfu, you must go around the island. The beautiful scenery is all on the way.

There is no sightseeing bus in Dongfu Mountain, so you can only rely on your two feet. It takes 4-5 hours to walk around the island, and you need to climb the mountain. It is still very tiring. You also need to pay attention to mosquito prevention. It is almost like donating blood. When you reach the highest Xiangbi Peak halfway, tourists sit together to rest and cheer each other up. The scene is really funny and warm.

Summary of the Dongfushan Island Tour: 4.5 hours of hiking (8:30-13:00), and the sun was very strong. There was only one view on the road, so if you don't have enough energy, you can walk counterclockwise to Furudonghai and clockwise to Dashuwan Stone House Group. If you have enough energy, you can walk the whole way, but you need patience. I walked counterclockwise, and most of the people I met on the road came clockwise. I almost didn't meet anyone on the way to Xiangbi Peak, and there was often no signal, so it would be safer to walk with a companion.

After you get off the boat, there will be many old people soliciting customers and taking you to see rooms and hotels. There are many good hotels on the island, but many hotels have many steps, so it is best to bring a backpack instead of a suitcase when you come.

We were on a self-driving tour so we parked our car next to the pier. Before coming, I read in the guide that there was a parking lot, but later I found that there were many cars parked on the roadside.

The hotel owner said it would take 4 hours to go around the island, but this trip around the island is full of ups and downs, so be sure to wear sports shoes, loose pants and clothes. The most important thing is to bring enough water, there are small shops where you can buy it, but the price is expensive.

I came here in August 2014. It's a long way to get here by boat, but the scenery is really beautiful. The seafood is also very fresh. The owner of the hotel is also very nice.

It takes a long time, the task is heavy and the physical energy is consumed. The mineral water on the island is still quite expensive. In addition, there is no one outside the village! No one goes there except tourists! Don't do anything dangerous! Otherwise, no one can save you! Dongfushan Island is really a very primitive island scenery.

After breakfast, two of our group of six wanted to go back to Shanghai, so our four-person team prepared to go to Dongfu Island.
