I took the middle class when I went there, and the lower class when I came back. Maybe because of the fishing ban, the common East China Sea seafood is not available. I ordered barbecue, a bowl of seafood noodles, and two bottles of beer, which cost about 130. The price of food on the island is almost twice the usual price, which is acceptable and not outrageous.

However, this is also the fishing ban period, so there will be less wild seafood and the price will be expensive. September to October is the best time to eat seafood in Dongji Island, especially in October, when the fish are fat and the crabs are full. Not only is the seafood cheap and there are many varieties, but the cool weather is also very suitable for hiking on the island.

Actually, the process is not very convenient. I took a bus from Shanghai to Zhoushan, slept for a night, and then took a 3-hour boat ride from Zhoushan Passenger Terminal to Dongji Island. The whole island is very small and can be walked in one afternoon.

The island is full of the smell of seafood and the astringent smell of the sea breeze. It is not convenient to eat alone, so basically the family sits at a round table. The store has a self-service seafood selection and the store will prepare it for you. I don't like fish or shrimp, so I ordered a tomato noodle and a stir-fried vegetable, and sat by the sea with a beer and ate slowly. It was really happy.

Tickets to Dongji Island still need to be booked in advance, and Taobao only charges 20 yuan more~~ I didn't book in advance, and drove to Shenjiamen Pier that night and stayed in a nearby hotel.
