Qingbang Island is known as the Potala Palace on the sea. You can see the stacked small houses when you look over from the boat.

The boat ticket was from Banshengdong Pier to Miaozihu Island. Qingbang is located between Miaozihu and Dongfushan Island. It took two hours to reach Miaozihu Island, where the boat docked. To get to Qingbang, you'd need to buy a new ticket, and it would arrive fifteen minutes later.

We had to walk back along narrow, winding paths, which was incredibly challenging. I wouldn't recommend this Qingbang Island circumnavigation. Since I didn't stay overnight, I'm not sure about accommodations and meals, so I won't be sharing any information.

Dongfushan only has a small amount of sea view and most of the rooms have mountain view, while Qingbang Island seems to have a sea view room in every household, so walking in Qingbang is very comfortable. There are really a lot of houses here. I can't help but think that it must have been very lively when it was full of people. Most of the youth hostels and B&Bs are here. Walking among the houses, I didn't feel the sameness. There were surprises everywhere. For example, this house has a yard with a sea view. For example, this yard not only has a small field for growing vegetables, but also chickens, ducks and geese. This corner seems different from the previous one.

I booked a double room in a youth hostel in Qingbang on August 26th. It is very close to the beach. The original price was 210. Now I feel unwell and have to go home. If you want to go again, you can stay in my room, which is for sale at 180. I have already communicated with the landlord.

Much smaller than Miaozi Lake and less developed, it's a pleasant place with relatively few tourists. I highly recommend this island to those who don't want to visit movie locations! Unfortunately, I didn't bring a camera, so I couldn't capture any photos with my phone, which was a bit of a shame. We squatted for a long time by the pitch-black shore. As the night deepened, the fluorescent jellyfish in the sea became more and more numerous, and the stars twinkled on the surface. The Milky Way in the sky became increasingly prominent. I was mesmerized by the beautiful view. The next morning, at 4 a.m., my friends finally got me up to watch the sunrise! Although there's a sun-viewing platform on Aohama Island, the innkeeper suggested we go to the star-gazing area the night before because it's often crowded and there's a small pavilion right in front, offering a wide view. Sure enough, we were the only ones there to watch the sunrise. Haha! The sky grew brighter and brighter, and then suddenly, the light exploded! Capturing this magical and glorious moment, nature is truly beautiful.

I was their first guest, and they treated me to a plate of homemade cold vermicelli noodles, which was incredibly delicious. It's a must-try next time I visit; I had two plates, and both were free. The red bean soup and crystal cake were also delicious. Qingbang Island has a natural beach. It is relatively small but it is the only natural beach in Dongji. Sitting there, feeling the sea breeze and looking at the sea view is a very good choice.

Qingbang Island is relatively undeveloped and remains in pristine condition, with abandoned houses covered in ivy and lush trees. There are few hotels and hostels on the island, and a full walk takes about 2-3 hours, or half a day to explore. If you prefer a quieter stay, you can also stay overnight. Qingbang Island is also the only island in the Dongji Islands with a natural beach, which has been expanded with new sand. Beach lovers should definitely check it out.

After watching the sunset, you need to go down the mountain quickly at around 18:20. Because there are no street lights, the road will become very dark and you need to prepare a flashlight, of course, a mobile phone will also work.
