张骞墓介绍

张骞墓位于陕西省汉中市城固县博望镇饶家营村的张骞纪念馆中。张骞，西汉时期著名的外交家、探险家，一生两次出使西域，开拓了举世闻名的丝绸之路，为中国西北疆域的确定和多民族国家的形成做出了不朽的贡献。公元前114年张骞病故，史书记载葬于汉中。

墓地坐北朝南，东西宽15米，南北长15米，高8米，占地12亩，呈覆斗形。墓前竖有石碑三通、汉代石雕一对名叫石虎、雄奇,解放前，这一对石虎一直是当地百姓祷病乞嗣求雨的神灵。
