    红水河，位于风景秀丽的红水河畔红水河镇，南与广西天峨、乐业两县隔红水河相望。红水河古称太阳河，因刘静红色沙贝岩层，水色红褐而得名。

    景区山水环绕由四座半岛环抱组成，属于典型的亚热带季风气候，温和多雨，自然风光奇特，湖出神韵，优美如画，是一个“看庭前花开花落、寻一心好归处”的绝佳胜地。

    目前已建成景区入口、游客服务中心、蕉叶岛、观景台、漂浮泳池、漂浮栈道、夜光花海植物园、热带植物园、水上体育运动旅游休闲基地、棕榈营地公园、热带雨林餐厅、红水河码头等功能区。
