Hike the scenic trails to reach the summit of Jingting Mountain for panoramic views of the surrounding areas. Visit the ancient temples and historical sites along the way, including the famous Buddhist statues. Enjoy the tranquil environment and take part in photography or nature walks.

Jingting Mountain, located in the northern suburbs of Xuancheng City, was originally named Zhaoting Mountain . It's where Li Bai wrote, " I never tire of looking at it; it's Jingting Mountain alone . " In the early Jin Dynasty, the name was changed to avoid the emperor's taboo. A branch of the Huangshan Mountains, it stretches over ten miles from east to west. It boasts 60 peaks , the main one , Yifeng , at 317 meters. As the saying goes, " A mountain is not famous for its height, but for the presence of immortals. "
A replica of Jingting Mountain's ancient gatehouse stands at the entrance, inscribed with the Chinese characters " Jingting Mountain " by Chu Tunan and poems by Li Bai and Chen Yi. Inside the gatehouse, a statue of Li Bai stands, radiating a sense of celestial beauty. Zhaoting Lake, home to the Zhaoxin Pavilion, is dotted with small yachts of various shapes. A lakeside path leads directly to the Shuangta Temple Scenic Area. Ascending from the twin towers, in March, the pear blossoms bloom white, the peach blossoms are red, and the rapeseed blossoms are golden, creating a picturesque scene.
Soon, the mountain rises higher and becomes densely forested. Climbing the steps from the ancient Zhaoting Archway and walking along the bamboo sea path, you'll reach the Green Snow Tea House. Further up the mountain, you'll reach the Taibai Solitary Sitting Tower. This is the epitome of Jingting Mountain's scenic beauty, with Cuiyun Temple and the Green Snow Tea House within easy reach , and vibrant azaleas covering the mountain and cliffs.
