The Fengkou Simianfang, located at the entrance of Fengkou Village on the Huicheng-Xucun Highway, was built between the Jiajing reign ( 1522-1566 ). With four pillars and three floors, it is square in plan, 3.8 meters on a side and 11 meters high. The beams and columns are constructed of granite, while the archway and slabs are purple sandstone. Under the ridge eaves are flower arches and carved corbels. It is actually four single-chamber memorial archways enclosed.
The south-facing archway is inscribed with the characters " Tai Xian , " and the backing plate bears the inscription " Zheng Qi , Assistant Censor of the Yunnan Provincial Court ." Zheng Qi, a native of Fengkou, was a Jinshi in the 26th year of the Jiajing reign ( 1547 ). The north-facing archway is inscribed with the characters " Chi Zeng " and " Ting Wei , " with the inscription " Zheng Tingxuan , Left Vice-Minister of the Dali Temple ." Tingxuan received the title due to his success. The west-facing archway bears the characters " En Rong " and " Jinshi . " The east-facing archway is unmarked. This archway is a rare structure.
