Wugongling Village, located in Huangtian Township, midway along Jieyuan Street, is known for its " barren hills and no fields as you enter Jieyuan from the street corner, where linen is used as quilts and chili peppers are used as salt ." At over 800 meters above sea level, it is known as " Home on the Ridge . " Wugongling Village's natural landscape is embodied by winding peaks, surrounded by clear springs, and lush green mountains.

In the 1960s , inspired by the " Learn from Dazhai " campaign, the people of Wugongling spent a decade constructing nearly 1,000 mu (approximately 1,000 acres) of terraced tea gardens. Continuous renovations and improvements have since transformed the village's 800 -plus mu (approximately 1,000 acres) of terraced land into a seamless, integrated, high-altitude, stone-lined terraced tea garden, a truly spectacular sight in China.
