Choushu Archway Group, the name of a group of archways, is located in Choushu Village, Fujie Township, She County. Four four-pillar, three-room, three-story archways are arranged vertically at the entrance of Choushu Village. One was built during the Tianqi Period of the Ming Dynasty, and the other three were built during the Qing Dynasty.
Among them, " Baorongfang " is dedicated to three members of the Wang Tingzhang family, a Huizhou merchant from Shibiao. Wang Tingzhang's ancestors moved to Yangzhou and traded in the salt industry, becoming fabulously wealthy and known as the " Iron Gate Limit . " In the early Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, the Wang family established " Xiuyuan " in Choushu Village , where the Qing Dynasty poet Yuan Mei and others met for drinks.

You can fully explore the Four Archways in about 1 to 2 hours, depending on your pace and whether you take time for photography and relaxation in the surroundings.
