Bancang Ecological Tourism Area is located in Tafan Township, Qianshan County. It is located in the subtropical monsoon climate zone and is adjacent to the transition zone from the subtropical to the warm temperate zone. It has abundant water resources, a forest coverage rate of 90% in the protected area, and the original ecological environment is well protected. There are more than 10,000 acres of original natural secondary broad-leaved forests , which is the last original forest in East China.
The unique rock formations of overlapping peaks, towering and precipitous peaks, crisscrossing ravines, and gurgling streams, along with the peculiarly structured " Bancang Stone ," create a unique rock landscape. This natural and beautiful scenery, combining secluded valleys, unique pines, treacherous peaks, and beautiful waters, embodies the greatness and wonder of nature.
In spring, the sky is clear and the air is fresh, the mountain flowers are in full bloom, bees and butterflies are flying, and hundreds of birds are singing.
In summer, the sea of clouds covers the sky, the mist is vast, and the strange peaks and rocks are like immortals sailing in a boat, which is spectacular and leisurely.
Autumn arrives, eagles soar under the blue sky and white clouds, red leaves shine brightly beside strange pines and rocks, and yellow flowers bloom beside the clear stream of Bitan.
In winter, the sky is covered with white snow, the mountains and waters are covered with silver, and the strange pines and rocks are transformed into jade palaces.
