Lingjiao Village, located in the southeastern part of Yucun Township, Xiuning County, is the starting point of the famous Huikai Ancient Road. The saying " eight parts mountains, half water, half farmland, and one part roads and manors " truly describes Lingjiao, a village surrounded by high mountains and with little arable land.

The village is surrounded by three mountains, with the Baishui River embedded in between like a jade belt. It slowly flows into the Zangxi River, then the Jiaxi River, and finally into the Xin'an River. The day of the interview, after a rain, was filled with lush green trees, lush forests, and beautiful mountains and rivers, creating a delightful scenery.
