The flamingos in Lake Bogoria have therefore surpassed the more famous Lake Nakuru to become the lake with the largest number of flamingos in Kenya, and it has also become the best place to watch flamingos.
The best times to visit Kenya are spring and autumn, with peak seasons from December to March and July to September. January and February offer the best weather, with neither too hot nor too dry conditions, and the highest birdlife. Naturally, these months also see the most tourists.
