In the 1950s, rotten ship planks, shell debris, and fossils were discovered there. The mountain's north and south ends are separated by approximately ten kilometers, and it rises to an elevation of 933 meters. Like Tianzhu Mountain in Changtai County, it boasts ancient pines, fir trees, bamboo, and orchards. Guming Rock is named for its mysterious cave, which emits a drumming sound. Guming Mountain, nestled amidst the peaks, appears even more verdant after rain. Studded with various rock formations, some resembling turtles and others resembling horses, and bubbling springs, it is a truly breathtaking sight in Changtai.
