Introducing Longgu Cave

Longgu Cave, also known as Longkong Cave, is located in Longkang Village, Yanshi Town, Xinluo District, Longyan City, 60 kilometers from the city center. With its gurgling waters, beautiful scenery, and pleasant landscapes, Longgu Cave boasts a rich mountain and forest landscape and complex, unique karst landforms. Formed 300 million years ago during the Paleozoic Era, it evolved through three oceanic crustal movements and intermittent periods. Located in the southern section of the Wuyi Mountains, the Longgu Cave Scenic Area is a National AAAA-level scenic spot and the main scenic area of Longyan National Forest Park. Known as the "Guilin of Caves" and "The Greatest Cave in East China," it is surrounded by mountains, towering pines, lush bamboo forests, and shrouded in mist, creating a wilderness-style karst cave and forest scenic area.

The cave is over 2,000 meters deep, reaching a peak of 50 meters. It consists of three levels: upper, middle, and lower. Within the cave lies a mountain, within the mountain itself, and within the cave itself, water itself. The scenery is breathtaking and the air is refreshing. Inside, there's a front cave that can accommodate over 50 people, like a lounge. After entering the Three Immortals Gate, one is greeted by a dazzling array of exquisite sights, including stone beds, stone elephants, ancient monkeys, stone eagles, stone snakes, and stone frogs. The largest of these is Guanyin Cave, boasting a vast expanse that can accommodate a thousand people. A stalactite statue of Guanyin stands majestically atop the rock face. To its right stands the Taishang Laojun, a figure with a chest-length white beard, and to its left stands a majestic stone horse. Behind it are the alchemy furnace, the Water Curtain Cave, and an underground river stretching over 300 meters. In the center of the main cave, two cows lie in a pool of clear water. Layers of terraced fields create a picturesque rural scene.
