There are more than a thousand Chinese macaques, a second-class national protected animal, gathered here; there are more than a hundred kinds of precious Lishan wild plants, such as lianxiang trees and mountain cypress trees.

The Xixia River, which flows out from the depths of the canyon, is the habitat of the giant salamander (Giant Salamander). The river water is so clear that you can see the bottom, and the stones on the bottom of the water are colorful and very beautiful.

It is about 8 meters tall, more than 3 meters thick, and has a canopy of 12 meters. Although it is not the largest or oldest tree in Lishan, its branches are thick and the main branches are coiled and stretched outward, just like a dragon and a phoenix leaning against each other.

It is the custom of local people to burn incense and kowtow under the big tree every year. Young men and women, newlyweds pray for a happy marriage and a long life together; middle-aged and elderly people pray for the elimination of disasters and diseases, and good health and longevity.

In ancient times, there was a saying that "civil officials get off their sedan chairs here, and military officials get off their horses here."

Baiyun Cave

Lishan is located at the junction of quartz sandstone and limestone, and has unique karst landform characteristics.

After millions of years of changes and ups and downs of rivers, numerous caves and underground karst wonders have been formed. Among these caves, the most spectacular one is Baiyun Cave.

Dripping Milk Fountain

The Dripping Milk Spring is a spring on the edge of a thousand-meter-high cliff at the top of Shunwangping. Although the amount of water is not too large, it never stops flowing all year round. Legend has it that this is the place where Ehuang milked her cows.

The touching story of "Ehuang milking the cow and water flowing on the top of the mountain" is still circulating today.

The water here is sweet. When people come to the square, they all rush to drink a few sips or take a few bottles for their families. It is said that it can cure all diseases, and local people respect it as "holy water".
