Introducing Zhushan Lake

Zhushan Lake, a bay in the northwest corner of Taihu Lake, borders Wuxi's Mashan Tourist Resort to the east and Yixing's Dubian Agricultural Tourism Area to the west. Backed by the lush Qinhuang Mountain, according to the Yue Jue Shu (Book of Yue), Qinhuang Mountain is where King Goujian of Yue buried King Fuchai of Wu. Zhushan Lake Town sits at the foot of Qinhuang Mountain, on the shores of Zhushan Lake, facing south and overlooking the vast expanse of Taihu Lake.

The scenery is quite nice. Behind Zhushan Lake, there's a 3-4km long winding mountain road. Driving or cycling along it is quite enjoyable. At the top, there's a viewpoint offering a panoramic view of Taihu Bay. Overall, there aren't many exciting things to do, but it's a good option for a scenic view, a stroll, or a bike ride. However, be sure to rest carefully, as the road has many sharp turns, making oncoming traffic difficult to detect.
