The average annual temperature of Beihai's seawater is relatively high, and you can swim in spring, summer, and autumn. April to November is the best time to travel to Beihai (summer is the peak tourist season). During this period, there is plenty of sunshine, the seawater is warm, and the Silver Beach is crowded with tourists, providing endless fun.

Beihai is a must-visit destination, boasting a wide beach and fine, white sand, earning it the nickname "China's No. 1 Beach." The tides recede quickly and rise slowly, making swimming safe. The nearby waters are accessible for over nine months of the year, without the fear of sharks. Beihai Old Street
Beihai Old Street, built in 1883, is lined with distinctive arcade-style buildings that blend Chinese and Western styles. The former sites of the British, French, and German consulates, the former site of the German firm Semper & Co., and the former Catholic convent are scattered along the street, testifying to Beihai's former prosperity. Today, it's a commercial street, offering pharmacies, wine shops, teahouses, and local delicacies like spicy conch, shrimp cakes, and pork trotter noodles.

Guantouling National Forest Park
Located at the westernmost tip of Beihai City, Guantouling is comprised of the main peaks of Wanglouling, Fengmenling, and Tianmaling. The main peak, Wanglouling, at 120 meters above sea level, is the highest point in Beihai City. Climbing to the summit offers panoramic views of the surrounding coastal scenery. The most famous feature of the reef beach is the "Sea Dries Up, Rocks Rot" reef turtle, a landmark of Guantouling. It's also a great place to enjoy captivating views of sunrises and sunsets, the vast ocean waves, and the twinkling fishing lights at night.
