
Yunmeng Mountain, also known as Qingyan Mountain, was the retreat of Guiguzi during the Warring States Period. It was also the place where students such as Su Qin, Zhang Yi, Sun Bin, Pang Juan, Mao Sui, and Li Mu studied. It is also known as China's first ancient military academy. It is a National AAAA-level scenic spot, a National Forest Park, a National Key Cultural Relic Protection Unit, and one of China's best tourist attractions. Yunmeng Mountain has been a popular tourist destination since ancient times. Scholars and Mohists throughout the ages have visited the area, leaving behind numerous poems, cliff inscriptions, and stele carvings.
It has a warm temperate continental monsoon climate, with warm and windy springs, hot and rainy summers, clear and cool autumns, and dry, cold, and little snow in winters.
