
Gulingshan Scenic Area is a National AAAA-level scenic area and one of China's best cultural tourism attractions. Lingshan Temple is nestled amidst lush green mountains, protected by the Dragon and Tiger Mountains. Major attractions include Nuwa Palace, Nuwa Peak, Nuwa Pool, Taigong Lake, Yudai River, Xingmu Spring, Ancient Buddha Cave, Butian Pavilion, Lingfeng, Caishengou, and Longtan Gorge, among over 200 others. Since ancient times, the area has been known as "Lingshan embraces the wonderful temple, and the divine springs cleanse the heart."
It has a warm temperate continental monsoon climate, with warm and windy springs, hot and rainy summers, clear and cool autumns, and dry, cold, and little snow in winters.
