The 699 Cultural and Creative Park, located in the middle section of Shanghai Road in Qingshan Lake District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province , formerly the Jiangxi Hua'an Knitting Factory, was established in 1957. In 2010 , the factory was transformed into a cultural and creative incubation park integrating various creative design, cultural education and training, film and television music production, artist studios, exhibitions and performances, as well as supporting facilities including a design hotel, coffee bookstore, sports fitness, and personalized catering.

The 699 Cultural and Creative Park boasts dozens of Soviet-style buildings and factories, all constructed of red brick. They are symmetrical, with a regular plan, high in the middle and low on the sides, a towering main building, and wide, gently winding corridors. Most have been converted into various cultural and commercial institutions.
