
Qingdao Seaside Scenic Area is located on the southern coast of Qingdao City, Shandong Province. It surrounds five bays including Tuandao Bay, Qingdao Bay, Huiquan Bay, Taiping Bay and Fushan Bay. It is the only scenic spot in China that enjoys the reputation of "the most beautiful bay in the world".
To commemorate the 120th anniversary of Lu Xun's birth, Qingdao Seaside Scenic Area added the Shouting Platform, Lu Xun's Autobiography Monument and Lu Xun Poetry Gallery to Luxun Park, renovated the garden paths, and improved the gardening level, giving Luxun Park real Lu Xun cultural content.
The Tidal Tower is a landmark building in the scenic area, and from the top you can overlook the entire area and the sea. The scenic area is suitable for water activities, such as speedboat rides, kayaking, and even surfing.
Qingdao is located in the northern temperate monsoon region and has a temperate monsoon climate with humid air, abundant rainfall, moderate temperature and distinct four seasons.

The scenic area is open 24 hours, but the best visiting times are mornings and late afternoons, especially from spring to autumn, when weather is pleasant.
Most of the Qingdao Seaside Scenic Area is free to access. Certain attractions like pavilions or piers may have small entry fees, payable on-site.
Advance booking is generally not required for the open areas. For specific attractions or peak-season events, book 1–2 days in advance.
