
Bird Island, located in Thousand Island Lake in Chun'an County, Zhejiang Province, is an ecotourism attraction within the Wulong Island landscape. It's a bird paradise, boasting bird viewing areas such as the Hundred Birds Garden, Rare Bird Garden, Peacock Garden, Raptor Garden, Birdsong Corridor, and Flying Pigeon Square.
This bird-shaped island is home to over 6,000 birds of more than 50 species , including birds of prey, running birds, wading birds, waterfowl, and birds of prey from around the world . The entire island is immersed in the chirping of birds and the fragrance of flowers. The famous line by the great Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai, " People walk in a mirror, birds fly across a folding screen, " is embodied here.
Feeding birds at Bird Island's Bird Garden will truly immerse you in nature, while human-bird dialogues will evoke a sense of friendship and kinship, inspiring a love and protection for birds. Other activities include photo opportunities with birds, watching a bamboo raft osprey fishing show, and watching pigeons play.

Open year-round, typically from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Spring and autumn are ideal for bird-watching and pleasant weather, while early mornings offer the best wildlife activity.
