Introducing Mist Mountain

Wuzhong Mountain, a Buddhist sanctuary on the ancient route from Sichuan to India (the Southern Silk Road), was originally named Daguangming Mountain, also known as Tiancheng Mountain and Wushan Mountain. Located in Wushan Township, north of Dayi County, Wuzhong Mountain is a scenic spot. Because it is perpetually covered in clouds and mist, it is named Wuzhong Mountain. It is one of the Eight Ancient Scenic Spots of Dayi.

Wuzhong Mountain is the dojo of the ancient Buddha Amitabha. Its temple was built in the 16th year of Yongping in the Eastern Han Dynasty (73 AD), only six years later than the White Horse Temple, the first Buddhist temple in my country in Luoyang, the capital.
