Pearl Spring, located in Tengchong, Baoshan City, Yunnan Province, is a twin spring pit, formed by condensation water from numerous vents. The two pits lie on the same plane. The water temperature in the east pit is 95.5°C, while the west pit's temperature is 88°C, with a flow rate of 0.2 L/s. Both springs exhibit fumaroles, siliceous volcanic alum, and uranium mineralization. The springs are widely distributed in this area, with two small boiling springs at the westernmost end at 92°C and a flow rate of 0.2 L/s. The name Pearl Spring comes from the condensation bubbles rising from the springs, which form a string of beads in the water and on the surface, gently rolling on the surface like pearls.
The tropical monsoon climate combines the advantages of continental and maritime climates. Winter and spring are sunny and warm, while summer and autumn have a mix of sunny and rainy weather and are cool and pleasant. All four seasons are suitable for travel.
