The Shimei Temple Scenic Area is located at the foot of Mount Laoshan in Licang District, Qingdao. Legend has it that in ancient times, this area was a barren wilderness with no plum blossoms. Later, ten beautiful women built a hermitage here and practiced together. They eventually achieved enlightenment and ascended to heaven, leaving behind ten towering plum trees. Their blossoms, as vibrant as the morning glow and as white as auspicious snow, gave rise to the legendary name "Shimei Temple."
