The Qingdao Taipingshan Scenic Area is located within the Qingdao Municipal Scenic Area Protection Area. Taipingshan Central Park encompasses seven parks: Zhongshan Park, the Botanical Garden, the Zoo, Julin Park, Qingdaoshan Park, Baihua Garden, and Huiquan Square.
