
Yuping Tower is located between Tiandu Peak and Lianhua Peak, with Yuping Peak behind it. The "Yuping Reclining Buddha" is at the top of the peak, with its head on the left and its feet on the right, a lifelike sight. Inscribed on the peak is the cursive script "The mountains and rivers are so charming."
The Welcoming Pine is located to the left of Yuping Tower. It's also a great spot for viewing Huangshan's sea of clouds. On clear days, you can also see nearby unusual rock formations such as "Immortal Floating Over the Sea," "Sheep Crossing the River," "Golden Turtle Gazing at the Moon," "Squirrel Leaping Through the Sky," and "Peacock Playing with Lotus Flowers," creating truly captivating and picturesque views.
In front of Yuping Peak, there is a huge rock platform called Wenshu Terrace, which is a great place to watch the sea of clouds in the West Sea. To the left are the Green Lion Stone and the Welcoming Pine; to the right are the White Elephant Stone, the Farewell Pine, and the Lixue Terrace. The view from the terrace is breathtaking.
The subtropical monsoon climate makes it suitable for traveling and enjoying the sea of clouds in all seasons.
Yuping Tower is where tourists from both the front and back groups gather. It is usually dark by the time you get here, so it is recommended to stay overnight. Yuping Tower is the upper station of the Yuping Cableway, and the lower station is Ciguang Pavilion.
