One of the ten famous pines of Huangshan, this tree is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is located on the left side of the road between the Black Tiger Pine and Shixin Peak. The tree stands over 20 meters tall, with two trunks splitting 2 meters above the ground, each reaching shoulder-to-shoulder. Their thickness and height are almost identical.

Because people often use the intertwined pine trees as a metaphor for married couples, the legend associated with this tree also tells the story of the love-hate relationship between Emperor Minghuang of Tang and his concubine Yang Guifei. Legend has it that the two vowed on Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine's Day) to visit Huangshan together a hundred years later to cultivate their character and marry again. After death, the two indeed visited Huangshan together, and, captivated by the beauty of the region, were transformed into the intertwined pine trees.
