Introducing Shentankou

Shentankou, also known as Shentan Port, is located in Xixi Wetland National Park in Hangzhou. "Nanzhangzi" records: " Shentankou is a place that can only be crossed by boat; it is said that there are dragons and the depth of the pool is unfathomable. " Therefore, Shentankou has become the venue for Jiangcun's annual dragon boat race. During the Dragon Boat Festival, people come and go in boats, and the scene is very lively, which adds a lot of color to the folk customs of Xixi.

Today, there is a bluestone pier every two or three meters on both sides of the Shentankou River. There are dozens of houses on the banks, interspersed with stone bridges and several grape trellises. The tenderness of the Jiangnan water town remains.

This is also the filming location for many film and television cultural works in Xixi, such as "If You Are the One" directed by Feng Xiaogang.
