Introducing Mai Jia Ideal Valley

Mai Jia Ideal Valley, located in Xixi Creative Industry Park, was founded by Mai Jia, the seventh Mao Dun Literature Prize winner. While traveling in France, he was inspired by a Shakespeare and Company bookstore across from Notre Dame de Paris . The valley is a " bookstore complex " that " only allows readers to read books, not sell them , " and also incorporates a " writing camp . "

Mai Jia Ideal Valley has a reading space of nearly 300 square meters, with more than 10,000 classic books on humanities and history, and provides free coffee, tea and other beverages. It also has a special literary writing camp model. Every year, Mai Jia personally selects and invites 8 to 12 " Ideal Valley Guest Creators " to stay in Ideal Valley for two months for free and freely create. This is the first of its kind in China.

" On the first floor, you can read books and drink coffee. The second floor provides space for literature lovers and also provides accommodation. " Mai Jia hopes that " Ideal Valley " will not only be a bookstore, but also a communication base and place for making friends that combines creative closure and ideological fluidity.
