Introducing Longchuan Bay

Longchuan Bay, located in the southwest of Qiandao Lake, is a peninsula in Jiangjia Town, 42 kilometers from Qiandao Lake Town. The area is dotted with islands of varying sizes, and winding harbors create the scenic Longchuan scenery of " islands within the lake, and lake within the islands . "

Longchuan Bay is the only lake-type wetland in Qiandao Lake. With a forest coverage rate exceeding 96% , it is the largest subtropical primary secondary broadleaf forest belt in East China. Less crowded and more tranquil, it offers a distinctly different wetland landscape from the eastern side of Qiandao Lake.

Longchuan Bay, a fusion of wetland scenery and educated youth culture, was formerly the Production and Construction Corps. The vast expanses of trees planted by the educated youth are now towering and lush. The winding mechanized farming roads they dug now form a perfectly serpentine loop around Longchuan Island. The scenic area features red-painted portraits of Chairman Mao on the walls, propaganda posters, and quotations from Chairman Mao, such as " The vast world holds great promise for achievement, " that transport one back to that thriving era.
