Wushan Tianfeng is rich in cultural heritage, boasting buildings such as the Mingxiang Tower and the Chenghuang Pavilion. Along the mountain path, a group of rocks of varying shapes, nicknamed the "Zodiac Stones " for their resemblance to the twelve Chinese zodiac animals, are also known as the " Zodiac Stones .　 " Qiu Jin, known as the " Heroine of Jianhu Lake , " wrote a poem after visiting Wushan: " Old trees tower lushly, the sunset glows red; the stone platform towers near the sky. Vast auras connect to the rivers and seas; half of the green mountains belong to Yue. " Thus, Wushan Tianfeng became one of the ten scenic spots newly designated as West Lake Scenic Spots.
