Yanzigou, located in Yanzigou Town, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, sits on the eastern slope of Mount Gongga, one of the world's highest mountains. It's the sister gorge of Hailuogou, located on the road from Moxi Town to Yajiageng. It's also known as the "Gongga Red Stone Valley." The gorge boasts pristine natural beauty, with a unique red stone beach stretching for over 20 kilometers. Due to the 2011 mudslide, only a small section of the beach remains. However, the red stones here are even more vibrant and beautiful.
In addition to the Red Stone Beach, there are also natural landscapes such as autumn foliage forests, glaciers, extremely high mountains, snow-capped peaks, and alpine rhododendron flats. Swallow Valley is also a famous international mountaineering route, and most athletes climbing Mount Gongga set up base camp here.
Plateau mountain climate;
The scenery is beautiful in all four seasons, but autumn and winter are the best time to visit.

Red Stone Beach
Located in the valley across from the Yuling Glacier, in the middle reaches of the Gonggara River, Red Stone Beach is the most densely populated area of Yanzigou's red stones, covering several square kilometers. In the nearly 100-meter-wide valley, the red stones are densely packed, and the white, turbulent river water is divided and gathered here, rushing down around the red stones.
Blackstone Cellar
At 3,200 meters above sea level, the view here is expansive and breathtaking. The panoramic view of Red Stone Beach is breathtaking, and the winding Nine Lotus Peaks, emanating from the Mandala, reveal their true form. Opposite Zhaxi Rewa, the Fish Scale Glacier is the first glacier visible upon entering the gorge, and its majestic grandeur is also unobstructed. Especially at dawn, the area is shrouded in clouds and mist, the rosy glow of the sunset, and the peaks are as dark as ink, creating a fairyland-like scene.
Swallow Rock
It is a massive, steep rock. Steam from the mountain stream lingers year-round, and whenever the mist rises, Swallow Rock is shrouded in an ever-changing haze, resembling a celestial peak. The Swallow Valley Main Peak Service Area is located at the foot of Swallow Rock. A 30-minute walk leads to the Bingjiakou Main Peak Observation Deck, and an hour across the river leads to Haizitang. This is one of the most comprehensive service areas in Swallow Valley, offering the best services and the most scenic views.
