
Lakeside University is located on the shore of the beautiful West Lake in Hangzhou, close to the Yuhu Bay of West Lake. Across Yanggong Causeway is the famous Huagang Fish Watching, one of the ten scenic spots of West Lake. Just along the road is the famous Su Causeway in Hangzhou.
The exterior of Lakeside University is completely open to the public, featuring blue brick, small tiled horse-head walls, and lattice windows with upturned eaves. Lakeside, with its seven buildings, occupies a mere 2,500 square meters. From a bird's-eye view of the entire campus, the buildings are arranged like the Big Dipper, brimming with Jiangnan charm.
Lakeside University was co-founded by nine entrepreneurs and renowned scholars: Liu Chuanzhi, Jack Ma, Feng Lun, Guo Guangchang, Shi Yuzhu, Shen Guojun, Qian Yingyi, Cai Hongbin, and Shao Xiaofeng. Lakeside University adheres to a public welfare and non-profit nature, advocating for upholding ethical principles and improving society. It aims to cultivate a new generation of entrepreneurs with the entrepreneurial spirit of the new era of business civilization, primarily targeting entrepreneurs who have been in business for at least three years.
