
Taihuyuan Scenic Area, located at the southern foot of Mushan Mountain in Lin'an, Hangzhou, is known as the Taihuyuan Scenic Area, the source of Taihu Lake. With cliffs, flowing streams, cascading waterfalls, and swarms of wild monkeys, the area boasts an ecological and pristine environment similar to Jiuzhaigou, earning it the nickname "Little Jiuzhaigou."
Taihuyuan, nestled in a canyon, boasts a 98% vegetation coverage rate , rich in plant species and a vibrant landscape of wild plants, creating captivating scenery year-round. The area is also a wildlife paradise, home to several nationally protected species, including the black muntjac and macaque.
The Taihuyuan Glass Bridge has a total span of 228 meters and a width of 2.8 meters. Standing 185 meters above the valley floor , nearly 60 stories high, it's East China's largest suspended glass bridge. When stepped on, it creates effects like " glass shattering " and " earthshattering, " creating a shattering effect wherever you step. It's a 5D suspended glass bridge.
The park is suitable for all seasons. There is an ancient village called Zhinan Village in the park. In autumn, it is full of red maples, which is beautiful beyond words.
The scenic area has a long valley of ten miles, and its main attractions include: Longxu Wall, Yunbitan, Siyuan Corridor, Xihouping, Qianren Cliff, Shenfeng Valley, Shuanglongtan, Ancient Buddha Courtyard, Baizhang Waterfall, Xianren Terrace, Sacrifice Source Altar and other fifteen attractions.
