Introducing Huanglong Tu Cui

Huanglong Tucui is located at the northern foot of Qixialing in the northern mountains of West Lake, at the site of the Huguo Renwang Temple. Since the Southern Song Dynasty, it has been famous as one of the five major dragon worship sites on West Lake. One of the twenty-four scenic spots in Hangzhou during the Qing Dynasty refers to this place.

" Huanglong Jicui " is one of the "Twenty-Four Scenic Spots of Hangzhou" from the Qing Dynasty. The name " Huanglong Tucui" (Huanglong Tucui) is derived from this scene. The use of the character " tu " ( spit ) highlights the unique scene of water gushing from the dragon's mouth and the upside-down curtain of pearls hanging from the cliffs of the spring pool, hence the name " Huanglong Cave . " The dense lush green bamboo here, each spitting out green, gave rise to the name " Huanglong Tucui . "

Across the main scenic area, a yellow dragon head stands on a rock, its eyes bulging, nose raised, mouth open, and whiskers curled up, creating a lifelike scene. From its mouth, the dragon continuously spews clear spring water into the emerald pool. The sound of the water is resonant, like the resonating sound of a zither. In the middle of the pool, a large, exquisite stone is engraved on each side with famous lines from the Tang Dynasty poet Liu Yuxi's "Praise of the Humble House." The front reads, " A dragon brings peace , " and the back, " Water's depth is not its essence . "
