Introducing Xin Qiji's hometown

Xin Qiji's hometown is in Sifengkuo Village, Yaoqiang Town, northeast of Licheng District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, to commemorate the poet Xin Qiji.

The Xin Qiji Memorial Hall embodies the architectural style of the Song Dynasty, boasting a simple and dignified style. The building is arranged into three courtyards, each housing a staggered arrangement of exhibition halls and pavilions. Surrounded by gardens, the hall is filled with lush flowers and trees, verdant grasses, and a tranquil and elegant atmosphere, creating a cultural landscape that combines nostalgia, remembrance, and leisure.

In order to introduce Xin Qiji's poems to tourists and show the achievements of my country's calligraphy art, a stele corridor will be built on both sides of the stele pavilion and the archway inside the stone archway. It will display the excellent calligraphy works of Xin Qiji by the great Ming Dynasty calligrapher Dong Qichang and contemporary calligraphy masters from all over the country. These calligraphy works will be carved with the "Jinan Blue" marble, a specialty of our district. Calligraphy lovers will be reluctant to leave when they come here.

The charitable act of repairing Xin Qiji's hometown has received wide support from all walks of life. Cadres and employees across the district, as well as veteran cadres from Licheng who are stationed across the country, have enthusiastically sponsored the project and have donated more than 300,000 yuan. The project is currently progressing smoothly and will soon be completed and open to domestic and foreign tourists.
