Houhai Village, also known as Tenghai Fishing Village, is located at the southern end of Haitang Bay and the northern part of Queen's Bay. It's a pristine and beautiful seaside fishing village, home to the Wuzhizhou Island Tourist Pier. Nestled on a small peninsula between Haitang Bay and Queen's Bay, it was previously relatively unknown. However, with the recent completion of the Wuzhizhou Island Tourist Pier and the growing fame of Haitang Bay and Queen's Bay, this small fishing village has gradually gained attention from travelers. In Houhai Village, you can experience the relaxed atmosphere of a fishing village and the daily lives of fishermen, as well as sample a variety of freshly caught seafood.
Houhai Village, nestled against the sea and backed by mountains, boasts pristine, soft beaches and a relatively intact coral reef system in the nearby waters. Here, visitors can enjoy the beach and snorkel, and it's also a great spot for sunrise viewing. Fishing is a staple of the area, and you can often see fishermen returning home with their catch. You can also sample freshly caught seafood from Hainan's signature fishing rafts.
