Xiangshui Bay lies at the foot of Niuling, a ridge that marks the north-south climate divide on Hainan Island, in eastern Lingshui County. Named after the springs flowing from Xiangshui Mountain into the bay, it connects to Shimei Bay in Wanning City and overlooks Fenjiezhou Island. Today, the bay retains its pristine coastal scenery. Upon entering Xiangshui Bay, the first thing you see is a lush coconut grove, followed by an endless expanse of silvery sand, ranging from low patches like carpets to high hills. Xiangshui Bay is relatively secluded, and walking along the shoreline brings the sound of the waves to your ears.
The mountains here are lush and the waters are turquoise, and the air is exceptionally fresh. At the foot of Tongling in Xiangshui Bay lies the "Sky-supporting Stone," a "Stone Pavilion" for watching the sunrise, and on the beach stands the "Dragon King's Chair," said to be the exclusive throne of the Dragon King. At the summit of Xiangshui Bay lies Niuling, overlooking Fenjiezhou. Fenjiezhou resembles a crystal palace, with deep blue waters, vast boulders, and interconnected caves. Towering trees shade the ground, and exotic flowers and plants create a breathtaking scene.
