The Qianlong Ancient Road starts at the Xizhongxi Restaurant at the north end of Jiuxi Road in the south, and starts at the highest point of Yangmeiling in the north. After being repaired in 2004 , the Qianlong Ancient Road is like a chain, connecting Jiuquling, Meinüfeng, Meijiawu and Shililangdang together.

Hundreds of years ago, villagers visiting Lingyin Temple to burn incense insisted on taking this path. Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty also traversed this route, earning the name " Daqing " ( Great Qing ) from him. The ancient path boasts a thousand-foot-long stone steps, each only one meter wide. Flanked by bamboo trees, the path offers shade and tranquility, with a gentle mountain breeze, making it a perfect summer escape. From the depths of Daqing Valley in Longwu Town, a 3,000- meter-long bluestone hiking trail leads all the way to Meijiawu.
