Baizhang Cliff is located 2 kilometers upstream from the temple in Dongzhen, Yishan. The cliff is 65 meters high, with sheer cliffs and deep valleys. During the rainy season, mountain springs gush down from the clifftop, forming a cascading waterfall. In early summer, snow still accumulates beneath the cliff, prompting the ancients to cite the line, "Baizhang Waterfall is cold in June." Midway up the cliff, there once stood the Xianke Pavilion, where a Ming Dynasty Taoist named Xueshan inscribed a couplet written by Fu Ximeng: "The tranquility of the mountain condenses the spirit; the height of the spring reveals the source of the Tao."
Baizhangya Waterfall is located on Baizhangya Cliff, a 65-meter-high cliff with steep cliffs and deep valleys. During the rainy season, mountain springs surge, and the stream surges, gushing into a torrent. When it reaches Baizhangya Cliff, it cascades down the cliff, forming Baizhangya Waterfall.
It has a temperate continental semi-humid monsoon climate with distinct four seasons, moderate cold and hot seasons, synchronized light and temperature, and simultaneous rain and heat. Spring is dry and windy, summer is hot and rainy, autumn is sunny and refreshing, and winter is cold and snowy.
