
Shengtang Scenic Area, located in the Lakeside Scenic Area of Xihu District, Hangzhou , is one of the two major blocks of the Lakeside New Scenic Area. It is bordered by West Ring Road and Lakeside Road to the east, West Lake to the west, Baisha Road to the north, and Liu Park to the south. The scenic area has created a very warm landscape lighting and has established several classical lakeside villas used as coffee bars and tea bars.
The main attractions in Shengtang Scenic Area include the statue of Bai Juyi, the memorial device of Li Mi's water diversion in the Tang Dynasty, the memorial sculpture of Marco Polo and Hangzhou, and Shengtang Gate. A small number of buildings and unique sculptures reflect the cultural characteristics of Hangzhou West Lake.
