Introducing Liuyi Spring

Liuyi Spring is located at the southern foot of Gushan Mountain, west of the Xiling Seal Society and east of Yu Tower. Su Shi named the spring flowing near the monk Huiqin's former residence Liuyi Spring in commemoration of Ouyang Xiu and his friendship with the monk Huiqin. The spring pool is approximately two square meters and is topped with a half-wall pavilion, taken from Ouyang Xiu's self-proclaimed name Liuyi Jushi.
