Introducing China Calligraphy Art Museum

The China Calligraphy Art Museum was established on April 28, 2012. It is located on the beautiful Liugong Island, a national 5A-level scenic spot in Weihai, Shandong Province. It was funded and built by the Liugong Island Management Committee of the Weihai Municipal People's Government.

The museum, with an exhibition area of ​​nearly 1,000 square meters, houses over 300 exquisite calligraphy works and over 400 outstanding calligraphy pieces, each of which possesses exceptional artistic value and a strong visual impact, making it a premier venue for the art of modern Chinese calligraphy. The museum, renovated from a restored distillation tower from the British period, seamlessly integrates the preservation of historical and cultural architecture with the art of modern calligraphy.

This museum integrates the exhibition, research, teaching, and exchange of modern calligraphy art. Its name is inscribed by Mr. Wu Dongmin, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and Director of the Calligraphy Research Association.
