1942 Street alone embodies the architectural styles typical of the Yangtze River Basin from the 1930s and 1940s, including Chongqing, Wuhan, Nanjing, and Shanghai. It boasts 91 buildings, over 20 of which are fully recreated based on historical photographs. These include Yaolu, once Chiang Kai-shek's official residence, the Xishan Bell Tower, the Chongqing Guotai Theater, and the Shanghai Rongguang Theater. Walking through these streets, you'll feel like you've traveled back in time. Though replicas, the buildings still evoke the ancient Qixi Festival, evoking scenes from the film that are both moving and unforgettable.
