Zijiu Thatched Cottage, now the Fuyuntang Tea and Book Club, is located on the west bank of Yuhu Bay in Hangzhou, adjacent to Lakeside University. It was Huang Gongwang's residence during his travels in Hangzhou. Huang Gongwang , the leader of the renowned Yuan Dynasty painters known as the " Four Masters of the Yuan Dynasty , " was renowned for his realistic depictions of mountains and rivers, most notably "Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains."

Huang Gongwang was a wild and uninhibited person, fond of wandering the world and spending his life wandering the world. Legend has it that he once lived in seclusion near Shaoji Spring, on the slopes of Chishan Mountain in Hangzhou, and painted "Shaoji Spring." In 2003 , a memorial hall dedicated to Huang Gongwang, named " Zijiu Thatched Cottage , " was established near his former residence to commemorate him.
