Ke Ling's former residence, located at Room 203 , No. 147 Fuxing West Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai, is a yellow Spanish-style apartment building built in 1933. Ke Ling spent 41 years there, writing numerous essays, miscellaneous articles, novels, plays, and other literary works that have influenced generations of readers.

The first floor of the former residence is furnished with two exhibition halls: " The Life of Ke Ling " and " Dimensions of the Simple Heart , " displaying photographs, manuscripts, first editions of Ke Ling's works from various periods. The second floor has been restored to its original appearance when he lived there, including bedrooms, a study, and a living room. A bust of Ke Ling stands in the garden.
